about

Richenda Bridge, Carmel Givens and I were Raw Silk - a gutsy a cappella trio in Maleny. Richenda found this Harmony Sisters song and reached out and grabbed it! Traditional songs rarely have such joy in them.

lyrics

I got the left hind leg of a rabbit - things are comin my way
All I gotta do is just to reach out and grab it
Things are comin' my way
Oh me, me oh my, I feel happy all of the time
You know I ain't got nothin' to worry my mind because
Things are comin' my way

Now I got the left hind leg of a rabbit things are comin' my way
You know, All I gotta do is just to reach out and grab it
Things are comin' my way
Oh me, how good I feel, I come callin' in an automobile
You know I don't need to worry 'bout my next meal because
Things are comin' my way

I got the left hind leg of a rabbit things are comin'. coming' my way
You know all I gotta do is just to reach out and grab it
things are comin my way
Oh me, I feel so fine, if it starts rainin' I don't pay no mind
Got a pie in the oven and a fruit on the vine
You know things are comin' my way

My clothes are tailor-made and my shoes are patent leather
Things are comin' my way
All I gotta do is just stitch myself together
Things are comin' my way
Oh me, me oh my, I feel happy all of the time
You know I ain't got nothin' to worry my mind, because
Things are comin' my way

I got the left hind leg of a rabbit - things are comin my way
you know all I gotta do is just to reach out and grab it
Things are comin' my way
Oh me, me oh my, I feel happy all of the time
And I feel so fine, if it starts rainin' I don't pay no mind
Oh me, how good I feel, I come callin' in an automobile
Don’t need to worry ‘bout my next meal
Cos things are coming' my way
I got nothing to worry my mind
Cos things are comin', coming' my way
